Birch

The birch is considered a sacred tree in eastern Europe and central Asia. In ancient times, it was believed to ward off malign spirits. Furthermore, it was used as a channel of communication between gods and humans. When it appears in dreams, the birch represents the beginning of important projects. The shape of its trunk - straight or twisted - could indicate whether or not those impending deals are on the right track.
