Carriage

A major symbolic analogy of mankind is the carriage in relation to humans. The driver is the Self in Jungian psychology; the carriage, the body and mind; horses are the vital forces; and the reins, intelligence and will. In this sense, the overall meaning of the dream is the same as in CAR. On the other hand, a carriage represents slow but safe progress. If you are surrounded by pioneers it may suggest the desire to explore your unconscious or to adopt a more exciting lifestyle. If you drive someone else's car, it portends poverty. But if it is yours, you will be rich.
