Mouse

The mouse is occasionally associated with the devil. It represents your instincts. It could also be a symbol of timidity or little worries that “gnaw” at you psychologically. The plague of mice and rats from the story “The Pied Piper of Hamelin” could be interpreted as an allegory for the overcoming of instincts over rational thought.
