Threat

If you dream that you are threatening someone, it may mean that you need to impose yourself in real life. However, if you are the one being threatened you must discover the cause of this situation. Some dreams have a climate so disturbing that it is difficult to find out who or what causes them. Chances are it is all derived from the problems you have in your relationships. You might be emotionally threatened by your partner, your parents, or your boss. Finally, those feelings the individual tends to repress—such as resentment, anger, fear, and eroticism—can also be fighting to become visible. Some oracles consider the meaning of this dream is suggesting the opposite. So, everyone will behave in a sweet and affable manner towards you.

Interesting facts

Improve memory

Improving memory can be done in a number of ways, and one of those is by having a good night's sleep. During sleep, your mind is still busy and going through the process of consolidation, where it strengthen your memories as well as the "practice" skills, which you have learned while you're awake. According to the associate professor at NYU Langone Medical Center, Dr. Rapoport says that something happens while we are all sleeping, and it helps us learn things better. Thus, if you're trying something new, you can perform it better right after you sleep.

Types of sleep

There are two types of sleep that most of the humans undergo - REM and NREM. REM refers to the Rapid Eye Movement and NREM refers to Non-Rapid Eye Movement. Every individual will alternate these two types of sleep. Non-REM sleep will occur for a short period of time in the first stage of your sleep followed by the REM sleep. Dreams occur during the REM stage, where it lasts for 20 minutes. According to a researcher, J. Allan Hobson, dreams that occur in REM stage are usually forgotten when the individual wakes up. Studies conducted on patients during sleep shows that the frontal lobes in the brain, that are responsible for storing information, are inactive during the REM stage, which is the main cause for forgetting the dreams. Studies also show that this is the stage where you have the most intense dreams.
